Sunday 05 March

Early morning yoga stretching and skipping on the grass area near the beach and pelican feeding area. Later on a local volunteer brings a bucket of fish and the pelicans arrive to be fed. Then we drive off to the boardwalks and trails of the Kalbarri NP coastal area. Dramatic red and yellow sandstone cliffs and beaches with overhanging limestone. Quite a few flies!

Really windy from the South west to the extent that sitting on the beach is a sand blasting experience.

We head back to the Murchison campsite and after lunch, and when the wind has abated, we go down to the beach.

Sunset beer down by the estuary before bbq’d salmon for supper.
